Coco Gauff’s journey at the Olympics continues as she advances to Round 3. The second-ranked women’s tennis player in the world secured a victory over Argentina’s Maria Lourdes Carle with a score of 6-1, 6-1.
Despite the one-sided score, Gauff faced a tough challenge from Carle, who put up a strong fight throughout the match. The first set alone lasted 46 minutes, showcasing the intensity of the competition. Gauff’s skill and composure were evident as she navigated through the match, showcasing her experience on the professional circuit since debuting at the age of 14.
