The International team faced a setback on Thursday as the United States dominated the competition. However, on Friday, the tables turned as the United States struggled against the Internationals. Despite this fierce competition, Mother Nature had the final say on Saturday morning, enveloping the tournament in thick fog. The event was delayed for over an hour, resuming at 9 a.m. ET.
The fog disrupted the schedule, with only two of the day’s four four-ball matches in progress. Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa from the United States were neck and neck with Adam Scott and Taylor Pendrith from the Internationals. Meanwhile, Tony Finau and Xander Schauffele had just started their match against Corey Connors and Mackenzie Hughes.
As the tournament progresses, Saturday will also feature foursome matches in the afternoon. The climax of the event will be on Sunday, with every player competing in singles matches to determine the ultimate winner of the Presidents Cup.
