Earning a $50,000 bonus for his impressive performance, “Xicao” celebrated with a shoey to top off his successful weekend in Australia.

With this win, Teixeira’s professional record now stands at 8-0, with seven of those victories coming by knockout. His latest win was a 35-second finish, where a devastating elbow in the clinch dropped Tafa, followed by a knee that ended the fight.
As a recent Contender Series signee, Teixeira has yet to go the distance in any of his fights, finishing all eight opponents in under five minutes. Remarkably, three of those wins were secured in under a minute.
