Welcome to the UFC, Ateba Gautier.

At UFC on ESPN 64 featured prelim on Saturday at CDMX Arena in Mexico City, Gautier (7-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) delivered a devastating knee knockout to Jose Daniel Medina (11-4 MMA, 0-2) ending the fight at 3:32 of Round 1.

Despite Medina’s initial smiles, Gautier stayed focused. He cornered Medina against the fence and landed a perfectly timed knee strike.

Medina from Bolivia is now on a three-fight losing streak. Despite a loss on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2023, he was signed by the UFC for his heart. However, he lost his UFC debut to Zach Reese in August.
