The Premier League may be on a break, but there was plenty of exciting league action across Europe this weekend. Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid were all in action, with each game providing its own drama.

In the Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain took a huge step towards another title with a resounding 6-1 victory over Saint-Etienne. Despite falling behind early, PSG rallied back with goals from Goncalo Ramos, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue, Joao Neves, and Ibrahim Mbaye. A draw in their next match will secure the title for PSG.

Juventus began the Igor Tudor era with a 1-0 win over Genoa, thanks to Kenan Yildiz’s brilliant individual effort. This victory keeps Juve in the race for a top-four finish and Champions League football next season.

In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich edged past St. Pauli in a thrilling 3-2 encounter. Goals from Harry Kane and Leroy Sane secured the win for Bayern, who now have a chance to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Lastly, Atletico Madrid’s LaLiga title hopes took a hit as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Espanyol. Cesar Azpilicueta’s stunning strike was not enough for Atletico, as a late penalty saw them drop points and fall further behind in the title race.

Overall, it was a weekend filled with excitement and drama across Europe’s top leagues. Fans can look forward to more thrilling matches as the season nears its conclusion.
