Lerone Murphy’s impressive win streak continued as he defeated Josh Emmett in a featherweight fight at UFC Vegas 105. With this victory, Murphy now holds the longest active win streak in the featherweight division, tying with Movsar Evloev.
After the fight, Murphy expressed his desire to face top-ranked featherweights and move closer to a title shot after being with the UFC for six years.
Murphy exhibited a strategic performance against Emmett, showcasing his footwork and speed to outstrike his opponent. Despite Emmett’s takedowns, Murphy maintained control and landed more significant strikes throughout the fight.
In the co-main event, Pat Sabatini dominated Joanderson Brito to secure a unanimous decision victory. Sabatini’s performance was highlighted by his control and effective striking.
