When are the EFL fixtures released? League One and League Two 2025/26 football dates

The schedules for the 2025/26 season of League One and League Two will be unveiled soon, with 48 teams eagerly awaiting the fixtures. Across 33 weekends, five midweeks, and eight Bank Holidays and international breaks, there will be 46 rounds of matches to look forward to.

The first promotion or relegation of the season was clinched by Birmingham City on April 8, securing their immediate return to the Championship by defeating Peterborough United. For fans looking to plan their season, the full schedule will be announced on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 09:00 BST.

Additionally, the draws for round one of the EFL Cup and the Vertu Trophy group stage will be revealed on the same day and broadcast live on Sky Sports News. Fans can easily sync the schedule to their devices by using the EFL calendar.

The 2025/26 season in League One and Two will kick off on the weekend of August 2, 2025, with the final games of the regular season taking place on the weekend of May 2, 2026. The League One play-off final will be held on May 24, 2026, followed by the League Two final the next day.
