Fabian Edwards wasted no time celebrating after a dominant victory over former PFL champion Impa Kasanganay in the main event at PFL 3 in Orlando.
In a battle of strikers, Edwards took control early with slick inside elbows that caught Kasanganay off guard. A vicious elbow from Edwards opened a cut on Kasanganay’s face, leading to a doctor’s check between rounds.
Despite Kasanganay landing some shots, Edwards continued to find openings. A well-timed jab wobbled Kasanganay, setting up a flurry of punches that ended with the referee stopping the fight in the second round.
After the win, Edwards set his sights on his next opponent, Josh Silveira. In the co-main event, Gadzhi Rabadanov continued his lightweight dominance with a quick knockout of Marc Diakiese.
Rabadanov overwhelmed Diakiese with punches, securing another knockout win and advancing in the tournament. Dalton Rosta also impressed with a statement victory over Sadibou Sy in the middleweight division.
Rosta’s relentless attack culminated in a D’arce choke that rendered Sy unconscious. Jay-Jay Wilson punched his ticket to the semifinals with a punishing performance over Mads Burnell.
Wilson’s relentless assault led to a late-round finish, overwhelming Burnell. The night started with Alfie Davis stunning Clay Collard with a spinning back elbow for a first-round TKO.
