Randy Brown and Nicolas Dalby are established main card fighters known for their exciting performances.
Both welterweight veterans were rewarded with $50,000 bonuses for their thrilling showdown at UFC Kansas City. Brown emerged victorious with a spectacular knockout of a visibly injured Dalby in the second round, showcasing his skills in the octagon. However, both fighters can proudly add to their bonus collection following their impressive display on Saturday night.
Dalby secured his third UFC Fight of the Night award, while Brown claimed his first bonus of the same category.
The Performance of the Night bonuses were bestowed upon Zhang Mingyang, who triumphed in the co-main event, and UFC newcomer Malcolm Wellmaker.
Zhang dominated Anthony Smith with a relentless barrage of strikes in the first round, ultimately forcing Smith into retirement with a brutal display of skill and precision. The canvas was left stained red with Smith’s blood as Zhang showcased his ferocity inside the cage.
Wellmaker, a recent signing from Dana White’s Contender Series, impressed in his debut by swiftly dispatching Cameron Saaiman with a single powerful right hook. With this victory, Wellmaker maintained his undefeated professional record at 9-0.
