After another thrilling month of MMA action, MMA Junkie highlights the top knockouts from April 2025. Here are the five nominees, presented in chronological order, along with the recipient of MMA Junkie’s Knockout of the Month award for April.

At the end of the article, don’t forget to cast your vote and let us know if you agree with our selection.

Nominees

Nominee: Marco Tulio vs. Tresean Gore at UFC 314

Marco Tulio delivered a standout performance in his middleweight clash with Tresean Gore.

Tulio (14-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) faced adversity early in the fight after being knocked down, but he rallied back to drop Gore (5-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC) with a straight right followed by ground-and-pound to secure a TKO victory in the second round.

Nominee: Dominick Reyes vs. Nikita Krylov at UFC 314

Former light heavyweight title challenger Dominick Reyes showcased his skills in a decisive win over Nikita Krylov.

Reyes (14-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) utilized counter-striking to perfection, landing a clean right-hand counter that dropped Krylov (29-9 MMA, 11-7 UFC) and prompted the referee to stop the fight.

Nominee: O’Shay Jordan vs. Mark Currier at Tuff-N-Uff 143

O’Shay Jordan demonstrated the effectiveness of heavyweight head kicks in his bout against Mark Currier.

In the third round, Jordan connected with a clean left head kick to Currier’s jaw, knocking him out cold. He followed up with two more shots before the referee intervened.

Nominee: Malcolm Wellmaker vs. Cameron Saaiman at UFC on ESPN 66

Malcolm Wellmaker made a memorable octagon debut with a highlight-reel knockout of Cameron Saaiman.

Following his successful run on Dana White’s Contender Series, Wellmaker (9-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) impressed by flooring Saaiman (9-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) with a clean counter right hook that led to a quick stoppage less than two minutes into the fight.

The Winner

The winner: Randy Brown vs. Nicolas Dalby at UFC on ESPN 66

Randy Brown made history by becoming the first fighter to finish Nicolas Dalby.

In a dominating performance at UFC on ESPN 66, Brown (20-6 MMA, 14-6 UFC) unleashed a devastating right hand that rendered Dalby (23-6-1 MMA, 7-5-1 UFC) unconscious at 1:39 of Round 2.

Brown’s display of skill was marred by a few contentious moments in the opening round, where Dalby managed to rock him with a punch. However, Brown quickly turned the tide with a sweeping right hand that shifted Dalby’s nose off center.

Continuing into the second round, Brown capitalized on his reach advantage to outclass Dalby with precise strikes. Despite Dalby’s resilience, he fell victim to a powerful right hand from Brown, resulting in a spectacular walk-off knockout.

With this victory, Brown ended Dalby’s streak of 30 fights without being finished and bounced back from a previous split decision defeat to Bryan Battle in December.
