Vinc Pichel has officially announced his retirement from professional mixed martial arts at the age of 41.

The UFC veteran, with 12 fights under his belt, decided to hang up his gloves after experiencing a three-fight losing streak, culminating in a defeat to Rafa Garcia at UFC Mexico in March.

In an emotional Instagram post, Pichel expressed a mix of emotions about his decision to retire, thanking all those who supported him throughout his MMA career.

He also hinted at working on a book chronicling his journey in the sport, promising to share unseen photos and videos with his fans.

As he bids farewell to his fighting career, Pichel leaves a message for his followers to stay true to themselves, learn from others, and most importantly, have fun.

Pichel’s UFC journey began on The Ultimate Fighter season 15, where he made a mark before making his official debut in the promotion. Over the years, he accumulated a record of 7-5, with his last victory coming against Austin Hubbard in August 2021.

Despite the ups and downs, Pichel leaves a legacy in the UFC that will be remembered by fans and fellow fighters alike.

His retirement marks the end of a chapter in his life, but opens up new opportunities for him to explore outside of the octagon.
