Dubbed as “The Diamond,” Poirier is gearing up for his final walk to the octagon in the main event of the UFC’s July pay-per-view card, happening in his hometown of New Orleans. This fight against Holloway marks their third encounter, with Poirier emerging victorious in their previous two matchups.
Holloway recently claimed the BMF title with a stunning knockout victory over Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 in April 2024.
