Richie Miranda is ready to bring his “Machete Style” to the UFC octagon.

The current LFA lightweight champion, Miranda (11-1), pulled off a major upset by defeating skilled wrestler Richie Lewis (6-1) to claim the title.

With five consecutive wins, including two finishes, Miranda is eager for the UFC to give him a shot, with the help of his coach and manager Cub Swanson.

“I believe it’s my time,” Miranda told MMA Junkie Radio. “I’ve been ready for a while now. This win really solidified my place and showcased the ‘Machete’ style I bring to the table. I’m here to fight and finish fights. My style is aggressive and thrilling. I know Cub will be making that call.”

Despite previously missing a UFC opportunity on short notice, Miranda is confident that his growth and experience in the past year will make him even more prepared for the big stage.

“I’ve been working hard and evolving every day,” Miranda said. “I’ve been proving myself in each fight and showing that I belong among the best. It’s been an amazing journey with Cub, Manny, and the Bloodline crew. I’m grateful for the experience.”

Training alongside UFC fighters like Swanson and Rafa Garcia, Miranda is confident in his skills and ready to showcase his talent in the UFC.

“I’m willing to face anyone,” Miranda declared. “I’ve been eyeing the lightweight division and I’m ready for any challenge that comes my way.”
