The New Orleans Saints are signing former Las Vegas Raiders safety Roderic Teamer, per Adam Schefter with ESPN. Teamer was invited to try out for the Saints during last week’s minicamp.

Teamer is a New Orleans native who attended Brother Martin High School and Tulane University, playing 4 years for the Green Wave. In 2018, he was named second team All-American Athletic Conference and finished his collegiate career with 197 tackles, 15 passes defended, 3 interceptions and 3 sacks in 46 games.
In 2019, he was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Los Angeles Chargers. He was briefly with the Indianapolis Colts before signing with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021.
Teamer will now return home to New Orleans as the newest member of the Saints.
