KSI is making his comeback to the boxing ring following his defeat to Tommy Fury.
Misfits Boxing made the official announcement on Sunday that the 31-year-old British influencer will be taking on Slim Albaher and MMA veteran Anthony Taylor in a unique 1 vs. 2 “tag-team” boxing match. This highly anticipated event will headline Misfits Boxing 17 on August 31 at the prestigious 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
KSI had previously issued a challenge to Albaher and Taylor in a YouTube video earlier this month, and both fighters eagerly accepted the challenge.
Expressing his excitement, KSI stated, “I am thrilled that both Slim and Anthony Taylor have accepted this challenge, as I had doubts about whether they had the courage to step up. They have both been calling me out for years, and now they will face me on August 31 in Dublin.”
The bout will mark KSI’s return to the ring after his defeat to Fury in October 2023, marking his first professional boxing loss.
Albaher has maintained an undefeated record in influencer boxing matches and most recently secured a victory over Salt Papi with a fourth-round knockout on the same October 2023 card.
Taylor, on the other hand, has had a mixed record since transitioning from MMA to boxing but is currently on a two-fight win streak, claiming victories over Salt Papi and King Kenny.
