UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley will be taking on a new role as a commentator for an upcoming boxing card headlined by Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz.
Joining O’Malley in the commentary booth will be veteran play-by-play man Mauro Ranallo and former boxing champion Shawn Porter.
O’Malley, who recently claimed the 135-pound title with a knockout victory over Aljamain Sterling, is set to face Merab Dvalishvili later this year.
But first, O’Malley will be calling some boxing matches this Saturday.
The broadcast desk will also feature Bellator MMA veteran Amanda Guerra, Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast co-host Mike Majlak, and former Strikeforce champion Josh Thomson. Morning Kombat co-host Brian Campbell and Las Vegas Raiders in-game host Sibley Scoles will be reporting live from the event.
The event will take place in Anaheim, with Masvidal and Diaz headlining in a 10-round fight at 175 pounds.
Fans can catch all the action on pay-per-view for $49.99 through Fanmio and UFC Fight Pass.
