- Scenario 1: If the match starts with 20 overs per side and is interrupted, resulting in a reduction to 17 overs before abandonment, it will resume with 20 overs per side on the reserve day.
- Scenario 2: If the match starts with 20 overs per side, is reduced to 17 overs, resumes with an additional over, and is then abandoned, it will restart on the reserve day with the 17-over format.
