The New York Knicks are currently in the process of finalizing their roster for the upcoming season.
One player that has caught their attention is veteran forward Davis Bertans, as reported by HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.
According to Scotto, the Knicks are one of the teams showing interest in Bertans, a skilled free agent known for his sharpshooting abilities.

The Knicks still have the taxpayer mid-level exception available, valued at around $5.2 million. It remains uncertain if Bertans would require the full MLE, considering his recent contract history.
Bertans boasts a career three-point shooting percentage of 39.6%. In the previous season, he averaged 6.7 points on 39.3% shooting, 38% from beyond the arc, and 1.4 rebounds per game.
Having played for various NBA teams following his lucrative contract, including the Washington Wizards, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Charlotte Hornets, Bertans brings experience to any roster.
While there are some drawbacks to Bertans’ game, such as his limited scoring inside the arc, subpar rebounding for his height (6-foot-10), and defensive struggles, his shooting prowess could prove valuable in specific situations for the Knicks.
