The Major League Baseball season is set to resume on Friday, with plenty of storylines to keep fans engaged. From surprising teams like the Cleveland Guardians and Los Angeles Dodgers to disappointments like the Toronto Blue Jays and Colorado Rockies, the season has already been full of twists and turns. Shohei Ohtani could win the MVP without even pitching, while rookie sensation Paul Skenes is making a case for both Rookie of the Year and Cy Young honors.

As the trade deadline approaches, teams like the Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays may shake up their rosters with key players potentially on the move. The AL West is shaping up to be a tight race between the Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros, while the Los Angeles Dodgers are hoping to get healthy to make a postseason push.

In the AL East, the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees are battling for the top spot, while the Philadelphia Phillies have been a surprise success in the NL East. The NL wild-card race is wide open, with several teams vying for a spot in the playoffs.

With so much excitement and uncertainty in the second half of the season, MLB fans have plenty to look forward to as the games resume.
