Real Madrid have decided not to pursue another center-back this summer after losing out on Leny Yoro to Manchester United, as per a report.
Despite appearing to be in a strong position to secure a deal for the young defender, United swiftly agreed on a transfer with Lille, announcing Yoro’s signing on Thursday with a contract until 2029.
Real Madrid, who have already seen Nacho Fernandez leave for the Saudi Pro League, are not in a hurry to sign a replacement center-back.

Aurelien Tchouameni may be required to fill in at center-back again next season, with doubts surrounding David Alaba’s fitness following his ACL injury.
Rudiger and Militao are expected to form the central defensive partnership for Real Madrid in the upcoming season, with concerns over Alaba’s recovery timeline.
Reports suggest that Alaba may not return to action until 2025 following his injury in December last year.
