Moving Day has arrived at Royal Troon, and the competition at the British Open is heating up. Shane Lowry has taken the lead with a two-shot advantage over the field, despite a minor setback with a double bogey. Daniel Brown and Justin Rose are close behind at 5-under, making it the first time since 1951 that three golfers from the United Kingdom and Ireland have led the British Open at the midway point.
Some big names, including Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Bryson DeChambeau, did not make it to the weekend. Woods struggled and is unlikely to compete again until the Genesis Invitational in February.
