The first day of the conference will focus on the election of The Associate Members Director. Three key Board positions will be contested, with Associate Members and Regional Representatives casting their votes. The newly appointed directors will serve a two-year term.
The following two days will feature various meetings between the Associate Member Committee and the CEC. Shah will chair the Financial and Commercial Affairs Committee meeting, addressing concerns about the budget exceeding expectations for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Will the hosting dispute of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 be discussed?
The ongoing dispute between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and BCCI regarding the hosting of the Champions Trophy 2025 is well-known, with BCCI declining to send the Indian team to Pakistan due to political tensions.
With both parties present at the ICC Annual Conference, an informal discussion may take place, although no official announcements have been made as it is not the main agenda. It is unlikely that a resolution will be reached at the conference, with the focus being on the mismanagement of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and budget overruns.

Will Sri Lanka or Dubai host the Champions Trophy 2025?
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 was initially set to be hosted by Pakistan, but due to BCCI’s reluctance to send the Indian team to Pakistan, there may be a change in venue.
If BCCI wants the Indian team to participate, they could propose hosting the tournament in Sri Lanka or Dubai to the ICC. While no decision is expected at the Annual Conference, an informal meeting between the parties could occur to resolve the issue.
