The Toronto Blue Jays are open to fielding trade offers for some of their biggest stars, including players under contract through the 2024 season, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network.
This new stance means that players like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette, both under team control through 2025, could be available for trade discussions with interested teams.
Sources: The Mariners and Rays have yet to engage in serious dialogue about Seattle’s interest in adding an impact bat, but the teams are frequent trading partners and talks could advance in the days ahead.

While the Blue Jays have shown a desire to retain their young stars, this shift in approach contradicts a previous report indicating that players under contract through 2025 would not be available for trade.
Despite a challenging season for the Blue Jays, Guerrero continues to perform well, earning his fourth All-Star nod with a .288 batting average, 15 home runs, 57 RBI, and a 132 OPS+. On the other hand, Bichette’s offensive production has dipped, with a .223 average, four home runs, and 30 RBI in 79 games.
It remains to be seen if any last-minute moves will materialize before the trade deadline, but the Blue Jays are evidently willing to entertain trade offers for their star players.
