Kate Middleton is defying cancer to witness a thrilling showdown between two of the top men’s tennis players in the world.
The Princess of Wales made a rare public appearance at Wimbledon to watch the final match between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. Djokovic, the men’s Grand Slam titles leader with 24 wins, is facing off against Alcaraz, the rising star from Spain who is considered the future of men’s tennis. Djokovic holds the No. 2 ranking, while Alcaraz is at No. 3.

This marks Middleton’s second public appearance since she disclosed in March that she was undergoing cancer treatment.

Since 2016, Middleton has been the patron of the All England Club, the venue for the Wimbledon tournament. Her duties include presenting the winner’s trophies after the singles finals.
Although she missed Saturday’s women’s final, Middleton, accompanied by her daughter Charlotte and sister Pippa, was present at the men’s singles final. Her husband, Prince Charles, was not there as he is set to watch England vs. Spain in the Euro 2024 final in Germany later on Sunday.
