Exciting news for fight fans as RIZIN announces two championship belts will be up for grabs at Saitama Super Arena on Sept. 29.
Roberto Satoshi will defend his lightweight title against Luiz Gustavo in the main event, while Naoki Inoue takes on Soo Chul Kim for the bantamweight title vacated by Kai Asakura.
Satoshi, with a record of 16-3, will face Gustavo, who has won four consecutive fights to earn his shot at the title. Meanwhile, Inoue, with a record of 17-4, will battle Kim, who has been on a winning streak in his past four bouts.
In addition to these exciting matchups, RIZIN 48 will also feature the return of Seika Izawa, who will face Kanna Asakura in a non-title bout. Kyohei Hagiwara vs. Ryo Takagi is also set to take place on the card.
