New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore suffered a hip flexor injury during Friday’s training camp session. Head coach Dennis Allen addressed the media yesterday to provide an update on Lattimore’s condition.
Dennis Allen commented on Marshon Lattimore’s injury, stating, “It’s concerning but not losing a lot of sleep over it right now.” He expressed hope that Lattimore will return sooner rather than later.

Lattimore has been sidelined from practice since sustaining the injury. Allen’s latest update suggests that he may be out for a significant period. While the injury is not expected to impact his availability for regular season games, Lattimore, being a seasoned player, can afford to miss some offseason time. However, this injury adds to his previous injury struggles over the past two seasons. A mild hip flexor injury typically heals within a few weeks without the need for surgery. If Lattimore’s injury is more severe or fails to heal properly, he may have to sit out the remainder of the offseason and preseason to ensure readiness for Week 1.
