England’s Joe Root is hot on Jaiswal’s heels with 1,023 runs to his name. Root’s recent century against West Indies further solidified his position among the top scorers in the WTC cycle.

As one of only two players to breach the 1,000-run mark in this cycle, Root’s stellar form has been crucial for England. Let’s take a closer look at the leading run-scorers in the WTC 2023-25 cycle.
