Golf makes its return to the Olympics once again, with the women’s tournament following the men’s format of 72-hole stroke play. Unlike other golf tournaments, there is no cut, allowing all 60 participants to compete in all four rounds.
The women’s competition will conclude on Saturday. In the men’s event, Scottie Scheffler of the U.S. clinched the gold, with Tommy Fleetwood of Great Britain earning silver and Hideki Matsuyama of Japan taking home the bronze.
