The International Olympic Committee announced last year in October that five sports will be added to the Summer Games in Los Angeles in the 2028 edition. These sports include Baseball/softball, cricket (T20), flag football, lacrosse (sixes), and squash. The T20 format of cricket will make its Olympic debut in the next edition in Los Angeles.
