The 2024 regular season kicks off with a showdown between the Chargers and the Raiders. Both teams underwent coaching changes after a challenging 2023 season, with Jim Harbaugh now leading the Chargers and Antonio Pierce at the helm for the Raiders.

Each week, I will provide a brief overview of both teams’ offensive and defensive performance up to that point in the season. Since it’s Week One and no games have been played yet, these numbers reflect where the teams finished in the 2023 season compared to other teams.
