Mike Goldberg is open to the possibility of working with the UFC once again.
After the UFC’s parent company was sold in 2016, Goldberg’s long-standing role as a combat sports broadcaster with the promotion came to an end. Despite this, he remains grateful for the experiences he had during his time with the UFC.
Reflecting on his departure from the UFC on the JAXXON podcast, Goldberg expressed his disappointment but chose not to dwell on it. He acknowledged the impact he had on the organization and the fans throughout his tenure.
While Goldberg has moved on to other broadcasting opportunities, including working with Bellator MMA and Dada 5000’s BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle boxing promotion, his connection with the UFC remains a significant chapter in his career.
One of the highlights of Goldberg’s time with the UFC was his partnership with Joe Rogan, with whom he shared many memorable moments behind the mic. His relationship with UFC executives Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta and Dana White is more complex, but Goldberg holds no ill will towards them.
Despite any past differences, Goldberg is open to the idea of reuniting with the UFC and working alongside Dana White once again. While their relationship may have had its challenges, Goldberg maintains a level of respect for White and is willing to collaborate if the opportunity arises.
