As the San Francisco 49ers returned to practice, Christian McCaffrey also made an appearance, albeit in a limited capacity. Head coach Kyle Shanahan sees this as a positive sign, indicating that McCaffrey’s presence, even in a limited form, is a step in the right direction.

Despite some fans suggesting placing McCaffrey on the Injured Reserve List to address his calf/Achilles injury, Shanahan remains focused on having him play. He expressed his confidence in McCaffrey’s ability to return to the field soon.

Shanahan dismissed the idea of a prolonged absence for McCaffrey, emphasizing his readiness to play. McCaffrey himself echoed this sentiment, stating his determination to be on the field come game day.

In a display of his unwavering commitment, McCaffrey emphasized his consistent approach to each week, never wavering in his belief that he will be ready to play. His mindset remains focused on being prepared for every game.

When questioned about the playing surface affecting his availability, McCaffrey dismissed any concerns, emphasizing the importance of being able to perform regardless of the conditions. His determination and focus on playing remain unwavering.

Shanahan assured that the team’s preparation for the upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings will proceed as usual, with no significant changes expected. Despite a half-speed practice on Wednesday, the team remains focused and ready for the challenge ahead.
