Sean O’Malley continues to taunt Merab Dvalishvili.
Following his loss to Dvalishvili at UFC 306, O’Malley initially accepted defeat gracefully. However, he later changed his tune, claiming he should have won the fight and asserting his status as the bantamweight champion. In response, Dvalishvili posted a video mocking O’Malley as his “son.”
In retaliation, O’Malley has now clapped back.
O’Malley recently posted a video on social media, mocking Dvalishvili and their fight. He demonstrated some moves he learned from his last fight, jokingly practicing on a heavy bag and pretending to get hurt afterwards.
“What’s up guys. I’ve got surgery on Oct. 3, [but that] doesn’t mean I’m not going to continue to improve and take away things I learned from my last fight and start implementing now.”
O’Malley is set to undergo surgery for a torn labrum in his hip on Oct. 3, an injury sustained before UFC 306. He aims to make a comeback next summer. Meanwhile, Dvalishvili is expected to defend his bantamweight title against Umar Nurmagomedov.
