Kevin Lee is gearing up for his Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA debut.
The promotion recently confirmed that the former UFC interim lightweight title challenger will be taking on Saul Almeida at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 8 on November 15th at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.
Lee, who is also set to make his return to MMA this Friday at Lights Out Championship, is keeping himself busy by stepping into the bareknuckle ring for the first time. Following his departure from the UFC after 18 fights and a brief stint at Eagle FC, Lee suffered a quick defeat to Rinat Fakhretdinov at UFC Vegas 76 in July 2023. Known as the “Motown Phenom,” Lee amassed a record of 11 wins and 8 losses during his time in the UFC.
On the other hand, Almeida, a Bellator and WSOF veteran with 34 professional MMA fights under his belt, is looking to secure his first victory since his TKO win back in October 2018 for AMMO Fight League.
The main event of Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA 8 will feature a bantamweight title fight between Randy Costa and Brandon Davis, both of whom have previously competed in the UFC.
