The arrest footage of Mike Perry has been released.
On October 12, the BKFC star was arrested in Florida for driving under the influence. TMZ Sports obtained the bodycam footage of the incident.
During the video, the arresting officer detects the smell of alcohol on Perry and questions him about drinking, to which Perry denies. The officer notes Perry’s slow speech and asks him to step out of the vehicle. Perry complies but refuses to take a field sobriety test. As a result, Perry is arrested, all while directing homophobic slurs at the officers.
While being placed in handcuffs, Perry tells his wife about the situation and uses derogatory language towards the officers.
As the arrest continues, Perry reacts negatively to the officer finding a receipt in his pockets.
Perry’s behavior escalates as he insults the officers further before being taken into custody.
The officers explain the next steps to Perry’s wife before allowing her to drive off.
Following the incident, Perry was released on bond and is set to appear in court. The potential penalties for his misdemeanor charge in Florida include jail time and a fine.
Perry, known as the face of BKFC, has had recent successes in the ring but also suffered a defeat in a boxing match against Jake Paul.
