The PFL Announces Historic Back-to-Back Events in Saudi Arabia

The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is set to make history by hosting back-to-back events in Saudi Arabia.

During a recent press conference titled PFL: Battle of the Giants, CEO Peter Murray revealed that the annual World Championship card will be held in Riyadh on Nov. 29. Six fighters will compete for season championships, with the ultimate prize being $1 million.

This marks the first time the prestigious event will take place outside of the United States.

In the women’s flyweight division, fans can look forward to an exciting matchup between rising star Dakota Ditcheva and one-time UFC title challenger Taila Santos. Ditcheva secured her spot with a quick knockout victory over Jena Bishop, while Santos advanced to the finals with a decision win over Bellator champion Liz Carmouche.

Additionally, Brendan Loughnane will aim to claim another $1 million prize as he goes head-to-head with Timur Khizriev for the featherweight crown.

The event will feature several other title fights, including:

  • Dakota Ditcheva vs. Taila Santos – women’s flyweight title fight
  • Brendan Loughnane vs. Timur Khizriev – featherweight title fight
  • Brent Primus vs. Gadzhi Rabadanov – lightweight title fight
  • Shamil Musaev vs. Magomed Umalatov – welterweight title fight
  • Impa Kasanganay vs. Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov – light heavyweight title fight
  • Denis Goltsov vs. Oleg Popov – heavyweight title fight
