Barcelona are reportedly considering selling centre-back Andreas Christensen in 2025 to raise funds.
Christensen, who arrived at Barcelona from Chelsea on a free transfer in 2022, is currently sidelined due to an injury and is not part of the squad.
During his absence, Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez have formed a strong partnership under new manager Hansi Flick, with Ronald Araujo also set to play a key role upon his return from injury.
According to Relevo, Barcelona are open to offers for Christensen and may consider selling him in the January transfer window if he recovers in time.
SPORT suggests that a summer departure is more likely, but a January exit is possible if the right offer comes in. Barcelona are unlikely to extend Christensen’s contract, making a sale before his value decreases a priority.
Barcelona believe they have adequate defensive cover with Eric Garcia, Jules Kounde, and Sergi Dominguez, but they are also eyeing Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah on a free transfer next summer.
Reports from Florian Plettenberg suggest that Barcelona are frontrunners to sign Tah next season, facing competition from Bayern Munich.
