On the 16th day, Bryson DeChambeau finally accomplished his hole-in-one challenge.
The professional golfer and U.S. Open titleholder initiated a unique challenge earlier in the month, aiming to hit a hole-in-one while driving golf balls over his house onto a backyard putting green.
The number of attempts DeChambeau took each day corresponded with the day of the challenge — one shot on the first day, two on the second, and so forth.
On a memorable Wednesday, DeChambeau successfully landed a hole-in-one using a wedge on his 14th try of the day, marking his 134th shot overall.
“I can’t believe I made that, finally! Are you kidding me?!” DeChambeau exclaimed before collapsing to the ground in astonishment. “That’s enough.”
Despite some near misses, including on his initial attempt, DeChambeau’s determination paid off, proving that the challenge wouldn’t be complete without a hole-in-one for the “Content King.”
Notably, DeChambeau has only scored one hole-in-one during his professional career, which occurred during the final round of the 2019 Masters on the 16th hole.
