Emile Smith Rowe has a message for Arsenal before their clash with Fulham in the Premier League.
Smith Rowe will face his former club as Fulham hosts Arsenal at Craven Cottage. The midfielder left Arsenal after 14 years to seek more playing time, which he has found at Fulham this season.
In his time at Fulham, Smith Rowe has scored three goals in 16 appearances, featuring in every Premier League match.
Before the game, Smith Rowe expressed his respect for Arsenal but stated that he will give his all for Fulham on Sunday.
“At 24 years old,” he shared with BBC 5 Live, “I wanted more playing time, and it was time to move on from Arsenal. I have found happiness and opportunities at Fulham. While I have love for Arsenal, my focus is on winning with Fulham.
“Moving to Fulham was a tough decision, but the right one. I have adapted well and am content with my choice. Marco Silva has been supportive and given me the freedom to express myself on the pitch.”
