Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is optimistic about Eddie Nketiah finding his goal-scoring form as he prepares to face his former club Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow night.

Nketiah, a product of the Arsenal academy, made the move to Crystal Palace in the summer for a reported fee of £25 million after spending seven years with the Gunners. Despite his struggles at Selhurst Park, with only one goal in 13 appearances, Nketiah showed promise in the recent match against Brighton, where he made a positive impact off the bench.

Glasner praised Nketiah’s work ethic and determination, highlighting his contribution in the Brighton game and expressing confidence that the striker’s hard work will eventually pay off.

Looking ahead to the EFL Cup quarter-final against Arsenal, Glasner hinted that Nketiah will feature in the match, although the starting lineup is yet to be confirmed. He acknowledged the challenge of playing at the Emirates but emphasized Palace’s confidence and readiness for the tough encounter.

Despite missing Wharton and Munoz due to injury and suspension, Palace’s recent unbeaten run has boosted their morale for the upcoming game. Glasner sees a potential victory at the Emirates as a significant achievement for the team and emphasizes the importance of translating their preparation and positive mindset into a strong performance on the pitch.
