Khalil Rountree Jr. faced Alex Pereira at UFC 307 and despite losing, he remained positive about his performance.

In October, Rountree gave Pereira a tough fight before being defeated in the fourth round. Despite the loss, Rountree was grateful for the opportunity to live out his dream and was happy throughout the experience.

Rountree expressed his happiness about facing Pereira, stating that he felt like he belonged in the octagon with him. He described the entire experience as a dream come true.

Even in defeat, Rountree felt content and happy. He received praise from UFC CEO Dana White and fans for his impressive performance.

Although Rountree did not win the title, the positive response from fans has motivated him to continue improving and striving towards his goal of becoming a champion.

Reflecting on his journey, Rountree acknowledges the contrast of emotions he has experienced but remains focused on his goal of becoming a champion.

Rountree recognizes the work he needs to do to achieve his ultimate goal of becoming a world champion and is determined to keep pushing forward.

After coming close to the title, Rountree is confident in his abilities and understands the importance of continuous growth and learning in his career.
