Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Czech goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky in a deal believed to be worth £10m.

The young goalkeeper, formerly of Slavia Prague, completed his move to Spurs after undergoing a medical in London over the weekend. The club announced the deal on Sunday morning via their official website.

In a statement, Tottenham said, “We are pleased to welcome Antonin Kinsky from SK Slavia Prague, pending international clearance and work permit. The 21-year-old has signed a contract until 2031 and will wear the number 31 shirt.”

Although the official transfer fee was not disclosed, Fabrizio Romano reported that it exceeded £10m.

With Tottenham facing a shortage of goalkeeping options, Kinsky may make his debut in the Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool on Wednesday, provided all necessary paperwork is finalized.

Following injuries to Fraser Forster and Guglielmo Vicario, Tottenham’s third-choice goalkeeper Brandon Austin made his first-team debut in the recent loss to Newcastle United. Despite a decent performance, Austin conceded two goals as Tottenham’s struggles at home continued.
