As we reach the 41-game mark for every team on Friday night, it’s time to recognize the standout performers from the first half of the season. Here are our midseason award winners…


The Midseason MVP is …

Kevin O’Connor: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been outstanding this season, leading the NBA in scoring and making a significant impact on both ends of the floor for the Thunder. While Nikola Jokić is also having a stellar season, SGA’s performance has been remarkable, especially considering the success of the Thunder when he is on the court.

Ben Rohrbach: Nikola Jokić’s all-around game has been impressive, ranking among the top players in various statistical categories. With his recent performances, including a 35-22-17 game, he is making a strong case for MVP.
