Aaron Pico has officially joined the UFC as a featherweight fighter. The 28-year-old finalized his move on Tuesday, signing an exclusive deal with the promotion. This marks another top talent from Bellator making the switch to the UFC after PFL acquired the Bellator roster in late 2023.
After the merger of the two organizations, Pico fought once for PFL, where he avenged a previous loss to Henry Corrales with a spectacular first-round knockout at the PFL vs. Bellator event in February 2024. Since then, Pico has not competed.
Earlier in the year, Pico had publicly stated his intentions to join the UFC if PFL did not exercise their contractual matching rights.
Considered one of the most promising MMA prospects, Pico boasts a record of 13-4 and has been dominant in his recent fights, winning nine of his last ten bouts. His only loss during this period was in 2022 against Jeremy Kennedy due to a shoulder injury.
UFC President Dana White has shown keen interest in Pico throughout 2025.
Pico now joins the UFC featherweight division, which already includes former Bellator champion Patricio Pitbull. Pitbull also made the move to the UFC following PFL’s acquisition of the Bellator roster and is set to debut against Yair Rodriguez at UFC 314.
A skilled finisher with knockout power and a strong wrestling background, Pico has finished nine of his 13 wins, with seven stoppages in his current 9-1 run since 2020.
