Arsenal has turned down an offer from Al-Ittihad, a Saudi Arabian club, for winger Leandro Trossard.
The Pro League team made a bid of £29.5 million for Trossard, but Arsenal rejected it, emphasizing that the Belgian player is an essential part of their plans, as reported by The Athletic and Fabrizio Romano.
Al-Ittihad has now shifted their focus to Porto’s Galeno, with the Pro League transfer window closing at 10pm BST tonight.
Trossard, who joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for a reported fee of £20 million with potential add-ons of £7 million, has been a significant player in a squad that has consistently finished as runners-up behind Manchester City in the Premier League.
