Arsenal fans have a reason to be excited as winger Bukayo Saka nears his return to action after a serious hamstring injury. The young player shared updates on his progress from the club’s warm weather training camp on Instagram.
Saka has been out of action since December due to hamstring surgery. He has joined the team in Dubai and has been seen working in the gym, but has not yet fully resumed training with the main group.
In a recent post on Saka’s Instagram, he shared several pictures with a caption of a sand timer emoji, hinting at his imminent return.
It is reported that Saka aims to return to action in early March, just in time for Arsenal’s important fixtures in the Champions League and the Premier League.
Before his injury, Saka was having a remarkable season with ten assists in 16 matches. Although matching the record set by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne now seems unlikely, his return will be eagerly awaited by Arsenal fans.
Saka’s absence has provided opportunities for young players like Ethan Nwaneri in the Arsenal squad, especially with Gabriel Martinelli also sidelined due to injury.
