Brad Tavares achieved a significant milestone in his UFC career by tying with Hall of Famer Michael Bisping in the record books. At UFC on ESPN 65, held at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Tavares secured a unanimous decision victory over Gerald Meerschaert, putting an end to his two-fight losing streak.

Reflecting on his accomplishment, Tavares expressed his determination to keep improving and evolving in the sport. With this win, he now shares the record for most wins in the UFC middleweight division with Bisping. Additionally, Tavares holds the records for most fight time, most middleweight decision victories, and is tied with Neil Magny for most decision wins in the promotion’s history.

Although Tavares doesn’t dwell on statistics, he acknowledged the significance of surpassing Bisping in the future with another victory. He shared his respect for Bisping and his impressive career achievements.
