During an appearance on the Mike Calta show, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Baker Mayfield shared his thoughts on the support he has received from the Buccaneers community. He humorously remarked, “You’re having a lot more fun when you’re not getting shipped off to different places like a dirty piece of laundry.”
Mayfield expressed his gratitude for the warm reception he has received in Tampa, stating, “When I got embraced in Tampa it made a world of difference… I’m so excited for having more years to come in Tampa… I’d do anything for our team, [the] locker room guys know that.”
The former Heisman Trophy winner also shared his happiness with how things have turned out in Tampa, calling it a place that “felt like home.”
Mayfield’s positive attitude towards the Buccaneers organization and its fans reflects his gratitude, appreciation, and excitement for the future. With his impressive performance on the field last season, the support for Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay is only expected to grow stronger.
