BYB Bare Knuckle Boxing has secured a multi-year broadcast agreement to showcase events on Vice TV, with the inaugural card set to premiere on Feb. 22.
This marks Vice TV’s first major sports acquisition as the network transitions to a more sports-centric focus in its programming lineup.
Vice TV President Pete Gaffney expressed excitement about adding live BYB Bare Knuckle Boxing events to the network’s schedule, emphasizing Vice TV’s commitment to featuring compelling sports content for its audience.
The agreement between BYB and Vice TV includes plans for 13 live events to be broadcast in prime time in 2025, with most events scheduled for Saturday nights.
The first event to be aired on Vice TV will be BYB 34 from Denver on Feb. 22, featuring super lightweight champion Harry Gigliotti defending his title against Jon Barnard. The co-main event will see featherweight champion Helen Peralta facing off against Lailane Mota for a vacant super featherweight title.
BYB Bare Knuckle Boxing has gained momentum in recent years, with fights taking place in the company’s unique three-sided trigon ring, known for its high knockout rate during matches.
The popularity of bare-knuckle fighting has surged, with organizations like BKFC leading the way in the industry. After securing a broadcast deal with DAZN in 2024, BYB now looks to make its mark in the sport with its partnership with Vice TV.
