North Augusta, South Carolina – The stage was set for an epic showdown in the final under-17 game at Nike’s Peach Jam as the top two teams in the EYBL and the three highest-ranked players in high school basketball faced off.
On one side, you had the dynamic duo of A.J. Dybantsa, the No. 1 player in the incoming senior class, and Tyran Stokes, the No. 1 player in the incoming junior class, representing the Oakland Soldiers from California. On the other side, Nightrydas Elite from Florida boasted a powerhouse lineup led by three of the top incoming seniors – Cameron Boozer, Cayden Boozer, and Caleb Wilson.
Nightrydas Elite made history by clinching their third consecutive Peach Jam championship, a feat never before achieved by a grassroots team at the 15U, 16U, and 17U levels. In a hard-fought battle, they emerged victorious over the Soldiers with a score of 71-62. The Boozer twins, who have also secured three consecutive Florida state championships and two gold medals for Team USA, played a pivotal role in this historic win.
